I'm setting off for my second road trip this summer.  This one will be a bit longer.  Yes I will be doing some tourist things this time.  I should have more photos or videos post on my return.  I will also be visiting some family as well.  This summer has turned out to be a busy and wonderful.  I do get tuckered out more because I feel like I am getting a lot in quickly.  Where will I end up this time?  Yup that is my very own traveling gnome.

Beach Day Photos

Yesterday I went to the beach.  It was overcast the entire time I was there but, I normally stay under an umbrella.  I don't want to damage my skin.   There was a sand sculpting contest in progress.  I took some photos because I thought you all would have enjoyed being there.  Sundays are generally super busy at beaches because its the day all the locals head out for fun.  I didn't stay for the judging so, I don't know who won.  These are a few of the sculptures below.

Jypsy's Final Checkup

Jypsy had her final check up at the doctor yesterday.  the doctor said she was healing nicely and she go back to normal activity.  She will be going to pick out a few new toys at the pet store this weekend and getting a full grooming session.  The doctor just needs me to feel for new growths under the skin on a weekly basis.  If I feel anything, I need to take her in immediately.  I'm so happy she is feeling better and things are getting back to normal for her.

First Road Trip Summer 2013

I know you all excited to hear about the first road trip of the year.   I went to visit with some friends in Jacksonville.  It was really nice reconnecting with friends that have not seen in person since high school.  I didn't eat out any restaurants because my allergies make it difficult.  I packed a cooler with plenty of snacks so I would not run into hungry times.  I got chance to see the beach but it the weather was really gloomy while I in town.  :(  It gave me a chance to do some shopping.  You all know how much I love shopping.  After I got back into town my sister flew into visit.  She stayed with me so, I used the time we had together to catch up and relax.  We did go to a baseball game with VIP seats.  We went shopping and spent two days at the beach.  It was a lovely start to a my busy summer.  I have another trip coming up in a few weeks.  Where will I go this time?

Jypsy's Update

I got the results back for Jypsy's tumors.  They tested as precancerous.  The doctor was confident that it was completely removed in the surgery.  The doctor also said the tumors did not have their own blood supply yet.  Jyspy is recovering wonderfully.  She has another appointment tomorrow for a recheck to check her stitches.  The doctor also said that she will need to go back every three months to check to make sure the cancer is not returning.  I'm fortunate that the tumors were found early.  I want to also thank everyone for sending tributes again for her.  She is getting extra spoiled.
